Cancellation Policy
Check the cancellation policy for room reservations through RentInAlcala.
Options that may occur:
I just made a reservation for a room, but I want to cancel it.
Since the reservation process is not automatic, but requires contact with RentInAlcala for any questions, it is difficult for any tenant to cancel a room. However, the following cases may occur.
⦁ I want to change rooms within the same apartment.
There would be no problem in formalizing the change, as long as the room is available. If the price of that room is different, the amount of the deposit paid will be adjusted if the amount of the new room is higher than the one initially chosen. What the owner can claim is the cost of the cleaning of the change of room, if you had already slept in the initial room. If you have not stayed there, you cannot be charged for the cleaning service.
⦁ I want to change rooms and go to another apartment.
In this case, if the owner has not yet received the transfer, the exchange could take place for another room advertised by RentInAlcala. In this case, the amount of the deposit paid will be adjusted if the amount of the new room is higher than the one initially chosen. Any change of room must be communicated as soon as possible, establishing a maximum period of 48 hours to cancel the contract.
The maximum period of 48 hours is determined by the time it may take for a transfer to be received in the RentInAlcala bank account. If the owner has not received the transfer, the contract can be cancelled.
I am already staying in a room, but I want to cancel the contract before the end of the contract.
If you were already staying in one apartment and want to change to another, the cancellation policy specifies that changing rooms means making a new reservation from the beginning. A deposit would have to be paid again for the new room. The security deposit deposited in relation to the previous apartment will be forfeited for breach of contract.
